My Guitar Heroes part V

Nobody ever quite mastered the style of rhythm and lead like the late Chet Atkins.  When Chet plays, if you close your eyes, it sounds like there is AT LEAST two guitars playing, maybe 3 or 4 at times.  He makes it look so easy and sound very smooth to do things that most accomplished guitarists wouldn't dare to attempt.  The guitar world lost a giant of a player when Chet passed away.  He will always be remembered as one of the greatest guitarists of all time.

  1. Man, that was amazing. It didn't seem possible for him to be playing all that--and it didn't even look like he was moving his fingers with each note. Definitely a guitar great!

  2. Well Mike I went through the whole gamut of Guitarists, and they were each unique in their own way. I sure enjoyed your posting on the music this week. I have always admired people that could play a musical instrument, or sing, of which I can do neither.
