Beautiful Sunny Day!
I drove over to the trailhead and ran 4 miles on the trail this morning. It was cold for Western Washington, but the nice part is that it is a beautiful sunny day today. The sky is even blue for a change. Poor Dallas was making his diorama and we told him to use blue paper for the sky and he didn't understand, he said that the sky is white, not blue. He was dead serious. I explained to him that the sky is blue, we just don't get to see it very much because of all the clouds that get in our way of seeing it. He still used white for the sky. Days like today make me realize how much I miss seeing the sun.

That is funny about Dallas thinking the sky was white instead of blue. Yes, it is a beautiful day today. I may have to go outside and soak up some rays.
ReplyDeleteThat is crazy to think about, but if that's the only color you've ever seen the sky then that's what you'd think. Come summer he'll be seeing plenty of blue sky!
