B.S.S. team dominating the 2 mile race. (L to R in yellow: Juliet Gerry, Michael Stone, Trevor Pettingill)Since I started my running blog, I haven't paid much attention to this blog. But things are going good. Dallas and Cody just had their last day of school yesterday and we celebrated with the first all comers track meet of the summer! They all did great. Dallas got 2nd in the softball throw, 2nd in the long jump, and participated in the 100 meter dash and also the 400 meter run. Cody did awesome in the 50 meter dash and got 3rd. He also participated in the 100 meter dash, softball throw and standing long jump (I think, it gets hectic trying to get all the kids to their events and also do your own events). Elijah did great in the 50 meter dash, I think that was all he did. Juliet won the 2 mile, 400, 800, and mile. Trevor won the 2 mile, I got 2nd in the 2 mile, and I won the mile in 5:13. Mercedes won the shot put and got 2nd in the javelin and softball throw. Desi got 2nd in the shot. If my math is correct we should have somewhere around 118 pts. for the first meet. Not a bad start to the year. We will have to see where the flying dragons are when they announce the leaders next week!
